What is the last check before we close the doors?

The loader reads the loading list line by line and counts cartons against it. Then he looks at the top layer, because anything loose up there moves first at sea. Last, he checks the metre of space nearest the doors, where a carton can slide when the truck brakes. The whole walk takes about ten minutes. After that, every count is confirmed before sealing. When the consignee counts on arrival, the numbers match the list row for row.
